Prepare for Allergy season!

Hi Friends,

Spring is around the corner, exciting, but for more than 40 million Americans, Springtime brings the misery of seasonal allergy challenges. Got a runny nose, itchy skin, and watery eyes this spring? You can thank histamine for that!

What are histamines?

Reduce the Production of Histamines Naturally

Prevent the release of histamine with Natural Hist-Eez. The All-star players here are Quercetin, Bromelain, and NAC.

Quercetin is a biologically active flavonoid antioxidant that is widely distributed in plants including oak trees, onions, and tea. Quercetin has strong antioxidant activity and has been shown to support immune health by mediating the release of inflammatory compounds including leukotrienes and prostaglandins. Quercetin is known for its ability to stabilize mast cells, diminishing the release of histamine, the compound known to cause hypersensitivity reactions during seasonal changes.

Bromelain is a plant enzyme naturally found on the stem and fruit of the pineapple plant. Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme that aids in the breakdown of large protein complexes, including antigenic compounds, and has been shown to enhance the absorption of quercetin. Bromelain has been shown to reduce circulating allergenic protein complexes associated with hyper-immune sensitivity and seasonal discomfort.

N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is an amino acid precursor to one of the most important antioxidants in the body, glutathione. Both glutathione and NAC help reduce the viscosity of the mucus allowing for the clearing of the airways and improving respiratory health.

Our natural approach builds an effective defense against these annoying rites of seasonal change. Unlike the reactive measures provided by traditional approaches such as antihistamines.

Intentionality is choosing to live according to what matters most. Remaining focused and intentional in pursuing our purpose means that the changing winds and trends of culture will not blow us off route. Over the weekend, I visited Mama Ward who is a mother figure to me. She said, “A life lived in love, kindness, and service always results in greater satisfaction, fulfillment, and joy at the end.”

During my drive from her rehab center to my home, I reflected on the times when I had certainly lost focus and become distracted by other things because of proximity. I found myself speaking out loud alone in the car, “Keep your mind and eye on the goal of your life -Emlah”. I am reminded of the pillars of health that I talk about with my clients. How you eat, how you move, how you sleep, and how you connect with others and manage stress. To enjoy this life and be fulfilled, we must take care of our physical body.

We all struggle, Choose kindness always

And that kindness begins with being kind to your body.

Let that sink in for a second. That's not a rare outcome; it's closer to a coin flip. And yet bone health is one of the things we tend to think about only after something breaks. The problem is that osteoporosis is silent. There's no pain, no symptom, no warning sign until a fracture happens. By then, you're not just dealing with a broken bone; you're dealing with the downstream effects: mobility loss, longer recovery times, and a higher risk of it happening again. The good news: this is one...
