Discover Journeys: A New Way to Understand and Empower Your Health

Hello Friends,

You’ve probably heard me say this before, but you know that I believe that health and wellness are not destinations, they are journeys. Each day offers an opportunity to take one more intentional step toward balance, energy, and a life that feels good inside and out.

That’s why I am so excited to introduce our newest service, Journeys, a program designed to help you understand your body, set meaningful goals, and create a plan that supports you every step of the way.

At the pharmacy, we see every day how hard it can be for people to access complete, meaningful health information. Too often, lab testing is limited, confusing, or disconnected from your daily wellness goals. We are offering Journeys to change that - to make high-quality, comprehensive testing accessible and actionable. Our goal is to give you a clearer picture of your health so you can make informed, confident decisions about your body and your future.

What This Journey Includes

This service is about more than checking lab results, it’s about connecting the dots between how you feel, how you live, and what your body needs. Together, we’ll:

  • Review key markers that reflect your overall wellness and vitality
  • Develop a personalized action plan that may include nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and supplement support
  • Track your progress and adjust your plan as your health evolves

Whether you’re focused on energy, hormone balance, heart health, or preventive care, this Journey helps you turn insights into sustainable, intentional habits.

Why It Matters

In a world that moves fast, it’s easy to put your own health on hold. But true wellness isn’t about perfection, it’s about awareness and small, steady steps that move you closer to the life you want to live.

I am here to walk beside you. To educate, encourage, and empower you along the way. Because every Journey is easier when you don’t walk it alone.

It’s that simple. Remember, every step you take toward understanding your health is a step toward living more intentionally. There’s no shortcut, no finish line, just the ongoing rhythm of paying attention and choosing what helps you thrive. My hope is that Journeys reminds you that caring for yourself doesn’t have to be complicated or out of reach. It’s about awareness, alignment, and taking small steps with intention.

A recent study found that individuals with higher vitamin D levels during midlife had lower amounts of tau protein buildup in the brain years later (one of the key markers associated with Alzheimer’s disease). Do you now understand why I say you have to have a vitamin D above 70ng/mL to be my friend? Researchers believe midlife may be one of the most important windows for prevention and long-term brain health support. Healthy aging starts with intentional living and focusing on the...

Low Dose Naltrexone (often called LDN) has become one of the most talked-about compounded therapies in the wellness and chronic illness space. But what makes it so different? Originally developed in much higher doses for addiction treatment, LDN uses a much smaller dose, typically around 1.5–4.5 mg, and is being explored for its potential role in supporting inflammation balance, immune function, discomfort, fatigue, and overall wellness. What’s especially interesting is that researchers...

We often think about health as the supplements we take, the foods we eat, or how much we exercise but our everyday environment matters too. New research published in the Journal of the Endocrine Society found that exposure to PFAS (“forever chemicals”) during childhood may negatively impact bone development during adolescence. These chemicals are commonly found in drinking water, food packaging, nonstick cookware, stain-resistant materials, and many everyday products. The study is another...
